In order to confirm that your device supports eSIM, you will need to find its “eSIM IMEI” number by following the steps below.
Samsung devices
Other Android devices
An eSIM is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan from your carrier without having to use a physical nano-SIM. To learn if your iOS device is eSIM compatible, you will need to:
eSIM on iPhone is not offered in mainland China. In Hong Kong and Macao, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation), and iPhone XS feature eSIM.
Before we get started, you need to see which version of Windows 10 your notebook uses, follow these steps:
Also, you need to check if your Windows 10 device is eSIM compatible. To do this, take the following steps:
eSIM cannot be used with a locked phone. If you are unsure if your phone is carrier locked or not, you may easily check this by following the steps below:
How to Check Locked/Unlocked Status on IOS
How to Check Locked/Unlocked Status on Android
You may also test the eSIM from another provider if you have one, and if you can successfully browse the internet, your phone is definitely unlocked.
First, it’s worth explaining what each measurement unit is worth:
1GB (1024 MB) of data on a Smartphone:
You can download as many profiles as you wish. Each device has a different capacity for the profiles stored at a time in it, usually between 10 and 15. This means that you might be prompted to delete a profile from the device. CAUTION! If you delete a profile, you cannot reinstall it, so you need to choose the profiles that you will not be using to be deleted. You do not have to download a profile immediately after you purchase it. You can check how many and which profiles you have. Navigate to MyAccount > Lines.
You will be able to see the entire list of eSIM cards that you purchased and more information about those lines.
Absolutely. You may use a physical SIM card and an eSIM in a compatible device.
The validity period of your data depends on the data refill bundle you purchase. Depending on the eSIM plan you select, you can choose from 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 180 days.
Your eSIM remains live even after your data bundle expires. To keep using the same line, simply add a new data bundle.
If you do not use all the data in your refill bundle before its expiration date, the unused data will expire and cannot be carried over to the next period. Yet, your eSIM remains alive forever. You may refill it with any data bundle anytime you wish to continue using the service.
If you use up all the data in your bundle before expiration, the line becomes deactivated, and the bundle activation status becomes “Finished.” You can top up to continue using the line.
Our eSIM doesn’t come with a phone number. Our Lines include mobile data plans only, which you can use with any free or paid local phone number services, like TextNow or Google Voice. You also can make free voice calls and send text messages using such popular applications as WhatsApp, Facetime, Telegram, Messenger, etc. It also works with any VoIP technology like Skype, Viber, Hangouts, etc. eSIM and physical SIM cards can be used in any eSIM-enabled or dual-SIM device. You can continue using the phone number from your main operator on 1 eSIM/SIM card slot and use data on another eSIM/SIM card slot.
Data roaming occurs when you use a data connection outside your carrier’s coverage zone. Your mobile network can make substantial charges for roaming outside your network coverage zone, and you may end up with an enormous bill without realizing it.
Using only Wi-Fi is the most obvious way to minimize or eliminate data roaming fees. Keep in mind that it is not a foolproof method for many of us because our phones or tablets are often needed most while we are on a move and not while we are sitting in an internet café or a hotel lobby (remember that most of the hotels still profit by charging for Wi-Fi). It is important to mention that public internet access is not secure, and you are much more prone to identity theft when using a public Internet connection. You will be more protected by using your own secure mobile connection.

According to our Privacy Policy, when ordering or registering on our site, you may be asked to enter personal information like your name, email address, and credit card information. Please note that if our alert system marks your order as fraudulent, we must confirm that you placed the order. To prove that, you must provide a copy of your photo ID and a scanned copy of your credit card.
You may be sure of a private internet connection as we provide you with a Privacy IP address. Privacy IP address prevents other websites from tracking your real location through an IP address. Other websites can determine your real physical location if you use your real IP address. They can sell this information to advertising agencies or other bad actors. It can be used to profile you and combine with other personal information to determine your real name, physical address, interests and other personal data. You can check what other websites see based on your IP by browsing to this site https://www.iplocation.net/
Privacy IP provides you with IP addresses that can not be used to determine your real location. That is why you see web advertisements in other languages. Because advertisers can not profile you based on your IP address, and they just show general ads. Depending on your data plan, you get a Hong Kong, France, Spain, USA and other Privacy IP addresses. To find information about the IP address you get, go to your account on our website > Click on your eSIM bundle > find More details button under the Refill button.
No matter where your travels take you, your connection to the internet will be private and secure. Password protected encryption means you’ll never have to worry about questionable public Wi-Fi networks and information leaks.
Please note that the origin of the eSIM in your possession is Spain. As a result, some websites can determine your location as Spain and even aren’t allowed to be opened. For such cases, please use Opera browser with the interior VPN and choose the US IP address. Besides Opera browser, you could also use such free VPN services as ProtonVPN and Psiphon, which also give a free US IP address. You can download both the desktop and mobile versions of these services.
Apply it in your account on our website. Find the “Lines” menu* click on “More Details” on the Line’s managing panel and find the “Redeem Free data” button. Bonus coupon codes may be applied only for active Lines. Enter the coupon code and click on “Apply.” Done, the bonus data is on your balance! Each coupon code can be used once per account. You can also apply the code if you click on Refill. You can apply the code in the field under the data packs.

Wi-Fi calling is the ability to use the voice service over a Wi-Fi connection. eSIMs are data-only plan eSIM, and we do not provide voice service. On the other hand, we recommend using any supported VoIP app, such as Skype, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc., to make calls via an internet connection. Or TextNow, Ring4, etc. can give you a free phone number or free calling minutes to call any local number.

Unfortunately, the eSIM QR code is unique and can be used only once. If you delete it for any reason, you need to buy a new eSIM. To install eSIM, please scan the QR code (it can be found at More Details> QR code at the Line’s managing panel in your account), set eSIM as a Primary Data Plan, and enable Data Roaming.
The eSIM QR code is unique and can only be used once. It is tied to a specific device and cannot be transferred to a new device. In case you have lost or changed your phone, or if you have reset it, you will need a new eSIM Line.
Starting from 1/1/2024, Keepgo now supports the transfer of eSIM to a new device. We offer a new eSIM in the same bundle plan and with the same data balance. For more information on how to get new eSIM and transfer to a new device, please contact our support team.
Please note that
** eSIM line which was deactivated with 0 balance or had under 100MB will not be support to transfer to new line.
*** when you changed your device and got a new eSIM from Keepgo, it’s considered a brand new eSIM line with a new transaction history. You will have the same amount of data as your previous line; however, the previous transaction will not be transferred over to the new line.
If you want to use a prepaid data plan and make regular phone calls, you can use it with Google Voice and TextNow. It allows you to make unlimited free regular phone calls and texts in the USA and Canada and offers cheap global calls without requesting your call receiver to install these apps on their mobile devices/phones. Furthermore, it can be used for low-cost international calls and texting. After you get a phone number from apps like Google Voice and TextNow you can use it for WhatsApp’s registration/verification.
Apps like Google Voice and TextNow also offer free texting, which can be used for receiving or sending SMS. Meanwhile, it might be used with your phone, tablet, and desktop.
Google Voice, TextNow, and alternative apps give you a permanent phone number, which can be used for regular calls and texting. Furthermore, it can be used for low-cost international calls and texting.
TextNow can be used not only in the USA and Canada, but also in other countries like Australia or Netherlands. To check if TextNow is available in your country, go to Google Play or App Store.
Yes. TextNow allows you to use your local phone number to get cheaper cell phone plans without losing your number. To port your number into TextNow you need to provide the account number* and PIN (if you have one) from your previous carrier, along with the correct billing address for the number. Once you have that information, you can port via TextNow website or app.
If you use alternative apps like Google Voice, you can also import your phone number into it. Google Voice charges a $20 USD fee to port your mobile number from another carrier, such as Verizon or AT&T, to Google Voice.
Every carrier will have a unique account number associated with the phone number. Your previous carrier will have the account number information for the number you’re looking to port. Phone numbers that are no longer active are unable to be ported.
To refill your eSIM, you can purchase one of the available refill bundles. Each refill comes with its own data allowance and validity period. When you purchase multiple refills for one eSIM line, a new data bundle activates when the previous one expires or when its data is consumed.
The Auto-refill feature automatically adds data to your eSIM line when your balance reaches 100 MB or lower.
Bill Protection is an optional feature you can activate when the Auto-Refill option is ON. It allows you to set a personal limit on your data charges to prevent excessive costs.
With Bill Protection, you can set a maximum amount for your data charges. You will receive notifications when you reach 85% and 100% of this limit. When you hit 100%, your eSIM line will be deactivated, and you will need to refill it via your account manually. You can enable or disable Auto-Refill and Bill Protection separately for your eSIM lines.
No. For example, if you use the USA bundle, you can top up with any USA bundle but not other bundles (meaning you cannot refill your USA bundle with data bundles for the Portugal bundle). For example, for the “Algol 10 GB / 30 days” bundle, you can choose “Algol 3 GB / 7 days,” “Algol 50 GB / 30 days,” etc.
The top-up bundle starts counting days after the first usage of its data.
If you top up when the previous bundle has expired but still contains unused data, the top-up bundle will become active upon first usage, and the data from the top-up will be utilized separately. Data from different top-ups is not combined or consolidated.
If you purchase multiple top-ups, they are used in a “First-In, First-Out” (FIFO) order.
Your eSIM remains live even after your data bundle expires. If your line has been deactivated, purchasing a top-up will reactivate it, allowing you to use the new bundle.
